y’all, i’m absolutely failing on the blog front. pretty please say i still have some readers out there?! i’m not quite sure what happened, but it seems to have taken a back seat in my life (ps i hate that).
what is a girl to do? i’ll be holding myself to a more consistent schedule, finding new ideas for posts, and trying to do my best. will y’all hang on with me? ok, thanks.
and before i leave you, this is what we did this weekend. give us a cold dr pepper or coffee and a good book and we’re all set here at our house. we have big plans for some potted plants and. a few extra touches here and there. love.

it’s been a little quiet here in my corner of blog land…and for good reason. one of my best friends tied the knot this past weekend! a drive to arkansas on thursday, manis and pedis, coffee, and bridal luncheons friday morning, rehearsal and dinner friday night, and HELLO! wedding on saturday. we watched two sweet people join lives in a beautiful ceremony. we danced the night away (and if you know me, whoa!) we celebrated love. we cried and we laughed. hugs all around.
kristin mitchell, you are beyond wonderful, beautiful, and gracious. so grateful to stand by your side this weekend as you said “i do.” congratulations, dear friend.
so glad you were able to drop in & take a look around. you'll find a little bit of everything: vintage, sewing, life, etc. here. oh, and just in case you want a nutshell of the things i love, here you go: pretty fabrics, anything vintage, mason jars, cardis & toms, dear friends, good books, arkansas, sunshine, the hubs, driving with the windows down, the hum of my sewing machine, daffodils, and so much more. that said, my one true goal in life is to honor & glorify my Father in heaven. i pray i can be a light for Him in every thing i do.
